Hannah Huff (Hannah Sorenson) was born and raised in the Midwest. She went to St. Olaf College where she was initially pre-med with a focus in mathematics before continuing on to get her MFA in Acting from Yale. She worked for a year in New York City upon graduation, booking her first TV appearance as a recurring guest star on CBS' The Good Wife and starring in her first feature film, BadPuss. In 2014, Hannah moved to California to marry Merlin and to continue acting in Los Angeles. In January of 2015, she co-founded Huff Studios with her husband to bring the training of Yale to the West Coast.
Merlin Huff was born in San Jose, California. Merlin graduated from UC Santa Barbara summa cum laude with a double major – a BFA in Acting and a BA in Philosophy. Immediately after graduation, Merlin went on to continue studying acting at Yale, where he earned his MFA and met the love of his life. Then, after graduating from Yale in 2014, Merlin moved back home to marry Hannah and start Huff Studios - bringing classical acting training to LA. Merlin just finished filming a pilot for a web series, and is in pre-production for another one. Coming up in 2015, Merlin will be acting in his first feature film - Lackadaisical Baby.
In addition to his work as an actor & acting teacher, Merlin has done quite a few other kinds of work. He owns and operates a small handyman business that he started thirteen years ago, he worked as a masseur, as a personal trainer, and he currently works as a photographer.
